The works of the flesh cannot be defeated in the energy of the flesh. It takes the force of the Spirit to defeat the works of the flesh.

And before the works of the flesh can be defeated, we have to align our spirit to be submissive to the works of the Spirit.

Allowing the Holy Spirit to sanctify us is a process of seeking spiritual growth and transformation, allowing the divine influence to purify and perfect us from our imperfections.

It involves aligning ourselves with God’s will and inviting the Spirit to guide our thoughts, actions, and character development.

When this is done, we are formed and shaped to be in comformity with the plan and purpose of God for our lives.

To think the works of the flesh can be defeated by mere grammar, eloquence, zeal and determination is to keep fanning the fire of agony.

Submissiveness to the works of the Spirit is the only authentic and most viable attack to launch against the works of the flesh. ⚡
